LIMA |
Arrival
to Lima. Reception and transfer to the hotel. |
Day
2
LIMA/AREQUIPA |
Breakfast. (04:00) Transfer to the airport. Departure
with Lan Peru 091 (06:00/07:20) flight to Arequipa. Upon
arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Rest of
the morning at leisure to become acclimatized to the altitude.
In the afternoon, tour of the "White City",
including the "Plaza de Armas" (main square),
the Cathedral, La Compañia Church, and the famous
Monastery of Santa Catalina. Next, visit the city's picturesque
surroundings. |

3
AREQUIPA/CUZCO |
Breakfast.
In the morning, transfer to the airport. Departure with
Lan Peru 091 (07:45/08:30) flight to Cuzco. Upon arrival,
reception and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the morning
at leisure.
In the afternoon, a tour of the city including: the "Plaza
de Armas" (main square), the Cathedral, Santo Domingo
Church (Koricancha), and the surrounding ruins of Puka
Pukara, Kenko, Tampu Machay and the renowned fortress
and religious site of Sacsayhuaman. |

4
CUZCO / PISAC / OLLANTAYTAMBO / CUZCO (Tuesday / Thursday
/ Sunday) |
Breakfast.
Excursion to the village of Pisac located 32 Kms. (20
miles) from Cuzco and
shopping at the colorful Indian market. Lunch in Urubamba,
followed by a tour of the town and fortress of Ollantaytambo
located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. |

5
CUZCO/MACHU PICCHU/CUZCO |
Breakfast.
Transfer to train station. A scenic 3 and a half hour
train trip through the Urubamba Valley, followed by a
30-minute bus ride up to the breathtaking Lost City of
the Incas, Machu Picchu. Guided tour through the ruins.
After lunch at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge, return to
Cuzco and transfer to the hotel. |

6
CUZCO/LIMA |
Breakfast.
In the morning, transfer to the airport. Departure with
Lan Peru 091 (08:55/10:10) flight to Lima. Upon arrival,
reception and transfer to the hotel.
(14:30) Tour some of Lima's main colonial sites: The Cathedral,
"Plaza Mayor" (main square), Government, Archbishop,
and Torre Tagle Palaces. Afterwards, drive through Lima's
modern residential areas: San Isidro with its olive grove,
golf course, and "Huaca Huallamarca"; and Miraflores
with its central park, "Parque del Amor", and
ocean views. |
