THE RIVER TIGUINO - CONONACO IN THE HUAORANI TERRITORY (8 DAYS AND 7 NIGHTS)

• Day 1	Reception by our staff in the city of Coca (Francisco de Orellana), ride by bus to the Huaorani-village Tiguino, situated in the Pastaza Province, Lunch, navigation downstream in canoe by motor on the Tiguino river. On the way we have the opportunity to see parrots, toucans and monkeys. Welcome cocktail and Dinner in the lodge.
  Day 2	Breakfast, walk of 4-6 hours in the jungle accompanied by a guide and a native guide. We have the chance to learn about the flora and fauna and the Huaorani culture and their various medicinal plants. Return to the lodge and Lunch. In the afternoon we go by boat fishing for pirañas and on the way back observation of caimans. Dinner.
  Day 3	Very early in the morning we will navigate the river Tiguino to its mouth with the river Cuchiyacu and we have the chance to see birds and mammals. Lunch and in the afternoon we will install our camp (tents). Afterwards we have a walk in the jungle. Dinner and a night tour to observe insects and other nocturnal animals.
  Day 4	Early Breakfast. Navigation in the river Cuchiyacu which is a tributary of Tiguino and we will have a walk in the jungle. With a little bit of luck we can observe monkeys, parrots, toucans. In the afternoon we can go fishing or just relax then a night tour and Dinner.
  Day 5	Early in the morning we will navigate on the river Tiguino by row-canoe to its end where it flows into river Cononaco. Possibility to go sport-fishing and a short walk in the jungle. Lunch. In the afternoon we install our camp (tents) at a beach. Dinner and later on we have a cocktail by a campfire.
  Day 6	Breakfast. Walk in the jungle. The guide will explain about the flora and fauna. Lunch. In the afternoon we will navigate back to the lodge where we will have dinner.
  Day 7	Breakfast. Later we have an excursion to our canopy observation tower of aprox. 40 mts height where the guide and the native guide explain about the various plants and animals who exist in this altitude. Return to the lodge. Lunch. In the afternoon we row with the canoe in the lagoon and we will have a competition with the blowpipe, Dinner and a farewell cocktail.
  Day 8	Very early in the morning we will make a tour to observe birds and mammals waking up (option). After breakfast we will pack up our equipment and navigate the river Tiguino upstream. On the way we will have lunch. On the bridge our bus is waiting for us. Transfer to Coca by bus where we arrive at approx. 18:00 PM.

• It's also possible to stay only the first and last night in the lodge.

• Optional On days 3 and 4	Optional we can visit on the days 03 and 04 the Huaorani village of Bameno, on the Cononaco riverbank. This is the last Huaorani village, which did integrate in our civilization. It's a village that still holds on to its culture but could not stop the big inventions of our culture and the oil companies.
  Prices	The price is USD$680 per person plus USD$20 for the Community Fee. If you want to fly to Coca the round trip flight is UD$110.
